The Resolution Ball at The Iconic Crystal & Fountain Ballrooms at the Historic Masonic Temple
The Resolution Ball Detroit celebrates their 20th year hosting their annual Chicago-Vegas style New Year's Eve extravaganza! This event boasts of being "the largest and most exclusive annual New Year's Eve Party in the Midwest." Attendees can experience 2 huge historic ballrooms of entertainment including 2 main stages with DJs, LED walls, professional dancers, cirque style performers and a midnight blowout with balloon drop, confetti storm cryo, party favors., midnight snacks and much more.

Much Love New Year’s Eve at Tangent Gallery & Hastings Street Ballroom
This party kicks off at 7 p.m. and will include more than two dozen musicians performing. You also get a free buffet from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and celebrate with a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $25 and available on Eventbrite.
New Year’s Eve at 526 Main & Tequila Blue
This party in Downtown Royal Oak will get you access to both the 526 Dueling Piano Bar and Tequila Blue Nightclub on the second floor.
There will be party favors, a midnight ball drop to celebrate the New Year, buffet-style dinner and late-night pizza to end the night. Tickets are available on the 526 Main website.
Eastern Market Brewing Company
Eastern Market Brewing Company is ringing in 2024 with a New Year’s Eve party will be both casual and fun.
The tickets cost $50, including bottomless beer, an Underberg midnight toast, music from a DJ. There will also be a food truck on-site with food for purchase.
Grateful New Year at Ferndale Project
Ferndale Project is ringing in the new year in a Grateful Dead style. Tickets are $60 and include a drink token, a midnight beer toast to celebrate, light appetizers, a live performance from The Raising Dead and complimentary non-alcoholic beer at the end of the night.
New Year’s Eve Bash at TRUST
The bar in Downtown Detroit is hosting a New Year’s Eve bash with a DJ, cocktails, shareables and a DJ spinning some great tunes. Tickets are $20 and you can also reserve a table or a booth. Tickets include a champagne toast at midnight and hors d’oeuvres.
Casino Royale at Daxton Hotel
Downtown Birmingham’s boutique hotel, the Daxton, is celebrating 2024 James Bond style. The party is formal attire, black tie optional but encouraged for men and corsets, elegant dresses, gowns and more for women.
Tickets include late-night food tasting and appetizers, a midnight champagne toast, live entertainment, photo areas and more.
Tickets start at $125 and you can also add a hotel package to stay the night.
New Year’s Eve at Youngblood Vineyard
Youngblood Vineyard about 45 minutes north of Detroit is hosting a celebration for the new year. It will include a dinner, DJ, late-night snack, bottomless beer & wine, a raffle, dancing and a fireworks celebration at midnight. Tickets start at $125 and everything is included.
Wright & Company NYE Festivities and New Year's Day Burlesque and Drag Brunch

Times Square NYE Party at Locker Room Saloon in Utica
The popular bar in Downtown Utica is offering a New Year’s Eve party that will include dinner, dessert, a champagne toast, goodie bag, NYE party favors and raffle tickets. Raffle prizes include a TV, speaker, portable cornhole game and more. Tickets start at $50.
New Year’s Eve Bash & Comedy Show at Captain Joe’s Grill
Captain Joe’s Grill in Whitmore Lake is once again hosting its dinner buffet, comedy show and live band for New Year’s Eve. The tickets are $75 and include a dinner buffet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., a comedy show at 9 p.m. and then a live band with a champagne toast at midnight.

The Apparatus Room at Detroit Foundation Hotel
Inside an old Detroit Fire Department Firehouse, The Apparatus Room offers incredible cocktails that have been inspired by their accomplished mixologists.
According to their website, the cocktail program is “classically focused with an inspiration drawn from the history of the building and the city itself.”
Their drink menu is very large with different wines, whiskeys, tequila, and more. Plus, they have a list of foundation cocktails which include an old-fashioned-type drink, the “Elderflowerade,” an espresso martini, and more.
The Monarch Club at The Element Hotel
There are great views at The Monarch Club, a rooftop bar located at the top of the Element Hotel in the heart of Downtown Detroit. The space has indoor and outdoor tables that are available year-round, so take in the sights while sipping on a delicious drink. They have exclusive cocktails like “Naked and Afraid” with Mezcal, Aperol, serrano peppers, and more, or the “Absinthe Minded” which includes gin, Lillet Blac, curacao, and lemon.
