Meet The Host
We are the Swains, a couple deeply rooted in our origins and driven by a passion for travel and diversity. I was born and raised in Chicago, while my wife comes from the vibrant city of New Orleans. Our journey into the world of short-term rentals began eight years ago in the charming summer resort town of New Buffalo, MI.
The revitalization of Detroit excites us, offering the perfect backdrop to showcase the city’s unique offerings. Situated on an international border, Detroit boasts a rich French heritage akin to New Orleans. Its stunning architecture, spanning various periods of American history, provides a rich foundation that we are thrilled to present to the world.
